Google Business Profile

Your listings are the shopfront. Keep them current without logging into Google.

For a local business, the Google listing is visited far more often than the website. Cretorial connects to Google Business Profile once, pulls your accounts and locations in, and gives you one screen to post updates and keep details accurate across every site you run.

The problem

The listing drifts while everyone assumes someone else is watching

Holiday hours never get updated. A phone number changes and the listing keeps the old one. A location opens and nobody posts about it for a month. None of this is negligence — it is what happens when the only way in is a Google login that two people share and nobody checks.

  • Hours, phone numbers and details go stale between people.
  • Posting updates is a separate chore that competes with everything else.
  • Nobody can see, in one place, which locations are actually being maintained.
  • Access is a shared password rather than a permission you can revoke.

What it does

Everything Google Business Profile handles for you.

One-click Google connection

Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the profiles. Consent is scoped to what the features need and can be revoked at any time.

Accounts and locations sync

Every Business Profile account visible to that Google login, and every location under it, is imported with its metadata into the workspace.

Local posts with calls to action

Publish updates to a location with an action type, a destination link and an image, without opening the Google interface.

AI content drafts

Generate update drafts for a location from its own profile details, then edit before publishing.

Quota-aware syncing

Google rate limits are respected with a cooldown between syncs, so a busy workspace does not get throttled or lose data mid-import.

Encrypted, revocable tokens

Provider tokens are stored encrypted and disconnecting removes them, so access ends when you say it ends rather than when someone remembers.

The workflow

How it runs, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Continue with Google

Choose the Google account that manages the Business Profiles you want in the workspace.

  2. 2

    Grant scoped consent

Sign-in details plus Business Profile permission. Nothing outside that scope is requested.

  3. 3

    Sync your estate

Accounts, locations and review history import, and can be re-synced whenever you need.

  4. 4

    Work from one screen

Post updates, review the queue and track each location without returning to Google.

What happens if the Google account has no listings

Plenty of people sign in with an account that has never managed a Business Profile. That is a supported path, not an error: you can still sign in and use the SEO engine, social publishing and the review workspace. No locations are synced, and the Google Business screens simply stay empty until an account with access is connected.

  • Sign-in works with any Google account.
  • GBP features activate only when profiles are actually visible to that account.
  • You can disconnect and connect a different Google account later.

Built for estates, not a single pin

One location is easy to maintain by hand. Six is not. Cretorial treats locations as a list you can work down, with per-location permissions so a site manager can maintain their own listing without gaining access to the rest of the group.

  • Every location carries its own review queue and posting history.
  • Role permissions decide who can sync, post and disconnect.
  • Local managers work inside their scope without a shared Google password.

FAQ

Google Business Profile, answered.

The one that owns or manages the Business Profiles. If you sign in with an account that has no access to them, the app works but no locations will sync.

It gives the workspace permission to read your profiles and publish what you approve. Disconnecting removes the stored token and ends that access immediately.

Google enforces API quotas. Cretorial applies a short cooldown between syncs and tells you when a quota limit rather than an error caused the pause.

Yes. Team members work inside the workspace with roles that decide who can sync, post or disconnect, instead of everyone sharing one Google login.
